Sunny loves other dogs!
He is about four years old, and we believe he’s a lab/chow mix.
Sunny came to the Cedar Bend Humane Society from Arkansas after the ASPCA removed about 100 dogs from an overwhelmed rescue group.
He can be very shy around new people, but he loves attention once he knows you. Sunny really comes out of his shell around other dogs. In fact, we’d really like to see Sunny go home with another dog.
Besides other dogs, Sunny also enjoys getting massages and eating treats.
Sunny is a quiet dog waiting for his family to walk through the door.
Will you give Sunny his FURever home? Visit the Cedar Bend Humane Society at 1166 W. Airline Highway in Waterloo to meet Sunny and to fill out an adoption application. The adoption center is open every day except Monday.

If you’re looking for an affectionate cat, Herold is sure to capture your heart.
Herold is about three years old. He came to the Cedar Bend Humane Society in February.
He has tiger striped fur to go along with his big tomcat cheeks. Herold loves attention. He especially loves to have his head rubbed, and he’s also a big fan of getting his fur brushed. This might surprise you, but Herold is great at taking baths.
Herold isn’t a fan of dogs and he isn’t looking for a home with a lot of toys. He’s not the most playful cat. He also doesn’t like to be picked up. However, he is looking for a home where he’ll get lots of lap time. The more affection, the better! He’ll return the affection with lots of purring, very loud purring we might add.
Will you give Herold is FURever Home? Visit the Cedar Bend Humane Society at 1166 W. Airline Highway to meet Herold and to fill out an adoption application.

You can probably see where Patch gets his name. Check out the brown patch over one eye.
Patch is about three years old, and we believe he’s a pointer mix. His fur is mostly white with patches of brown.
Patch is a quiet dog that needs some patience and socialization. He is very shy around new people, but he really perks up around other dogs.
We actually recommend a home with another dog for Patch. We think it will make him happy and help him come out of his shell.
If you’re looking for a sweet dog that gets along well with other animals, Patch is your pooch.
Will you give Patch his FURever Home? Visit the Cedar Bend Humane Society at 1166 W. Airline Highway in Waterloo to meet Patch and to fill out an adoption application.
The adoption center is open every day except Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Don’t tell Harper she’s 10 years old! She still enjoys playing and having fun.
Harper is one of 29 dogs that arrived at the Cedar Bend Humane Society in mid-April from the ASPCA.
We think she’s a coonhound mix. Harper loves to get attention and have her fur scratched. She does have some allergies, but she’s doing much better with an allergy medication.
Harper walks well on a leash. She also knows how to sit and shake with *both paws.
We recently took Harper to the Bark For Life of Black Hawk County, and she did great being around lots of people and other dogs.
Harper is a loving dog, and she would be a great addition to any family.
Will you give Harper her FURever Home?
Visit the Cedar Bend Humane Society at 1166 W. Airline Highway in Waterloo to meet Harper and to fill out an adoption application.
We’re open from 10 to 5 every day except Monday.
