Pick of the Litter: Spike

This month’s “Pick of the Litter” is Spike, chosen by CBHS Adoption Counselor, Ryan Vasquez.

“The reason I chose Spike to be this month’s Pick of the Litter was because he is one of Cedar Bend Humane Society’s longest dog residents! I am shocked this amazing dog has not been adopted by now. Spike is full of love and affection. I visit him every day and he rests his big goofy head on my shoulder. He is just happy to be sitting with me. Spike is a staff favorite, who everyone loves. He is one of my favorite dogs that have ever wagged their tail through CBHS. He can have a lot of energy and gets very excited for walks. He appreciates snuggling on a comfy blanket and he absolutely loves anyone who will give him a good belly rub. He loves any toy you could give him, and especially likes stuffed toys that squeak! He has a very handsome under bite that makes him look as sweet as they come. Spike would do great in any home ready to love him and all of his goofy qualities. If you want a dog who will love you and stay forever loyal, adopt Spike!”

Visit the Cedar Bend Humane Society in Waterloo to meet Spike and fill out an adoption application. Our adoption center is open Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm., Thursday and Friday until 7:00pm through August 31st. The adoption center is closed on Mondays.
